In America alone, 400 million cups of coffee are consumed per day. It should not come to any surprise that the $122B supplement industry has been using caffeine heavily in their products and has been working overtime to find a powerful replacement for the drug.
The results so far? Paltry.
Users have had to choose between heavy stimulants which often have led to immense side-effects ranging from migraines, dehydration, severe blood pressure issues, and even to overdoses leading to death. On the other end, the "natural health" movement has countered by introducing stripped down herbs, which - while lighter on the side effects- rarely have done anything to boost mental performance.
Four years ago, after noting the worrying global trend of increasing adverse reactions from excessive consumption of highly caffeinated products, Nektium's R&D and innovation team began a global search for a safe and effective ingredient that could not only replace caffeine, but be superior to caffeine.
The challenge? A research imperative to find rapidly acting botanical extract with nootropic and sports performance activities, free of cardiovascular and other side-effects, and without addictive and tolerance potential.
Nektium's research team was led by Dr. Nigel Gericke, and involved extensive reviews of the international ethnobotanical literature, of the uses of plants in the traditions of Ayurvedic Medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine, and reviews of Nektium's own ethnobotanical records from European, Russian, Amazonian, and African plants.
The result: Zynamite, a specialized extract from Mango Leaves which notably showed precisely but remarkably similar activation activity to caffeine in studies of brain electrical activity, with one caveat: it acts selectively.
While caffeine antagonizes adenosine receptors, Zynamite acts non-selectively to stimulate brain activity. The key active, mangiferin acts non-selectively to modulate multiple physiological and CNS targets.
What does this mean? Simple: while Zynamite can increase levelf of mental energy, cognition, and concentration, it may do so without increasing levels of cortisol - which then equates to fewer (if any) side effects usually caused by caffeine.
This hypothesis was rigorously tested*.

The Studies: Zynamite Delivers
Zynamite has been studied in 4 randomized, placebo-controlled clinical trials - 2 for mental energy and 2 for sports performance.
In the first study, twelve physically active young men took a combination of 140mg Zynamite® + 50mg luteolin every 8 hours, and after 48 hours, they performed repeated bicycle ergometer Wingate sprint tests. Mean power output was increased by 5–7% compared with placebo (Figure 1).
In a follow-up confirmatory study, 30 young athletes (13 women and 17 men), 140mg of Zynamite was administered every 8 hours for 48 hours, but this time in two separate combinations: 50mg luteolin and 600mg quercetin.
The combination of Zynamite pre workout capsules with quercetin increased peak power output by 19.4% compared to placebo. Both formulations increased mean power output by 6% during repeated ergometer Wingate tests. Zynamite® improved VO2 peak by 5%, with a corresponding increase in brain oxygenation of 10–12% in women.⁷ (Figure 2)
The results from these two studies demonstrated that formulations containing Zynamite have an even stronger effect than those published for caffeine, in addition to a significant improvement in peak power output.
Zynamite's Effects on Mental Energy
The next two studies focused on mental energy. The first used a single dose of 500mg of in 16 participants (7 men and 9 women).
The study showed that Zynamite significantly reduced fatigue after only 1.5 hours, analyzed with the Profile of Mood States questionnaire (POMS). Zynamite reduced stress during the Calculation Performance Tests, evidenced by Galvanic skin response. (Figure 3)
Zynamite had no side effects and no change in heart rate variability or blood pressure over the course of the study-variables typically affected by caffeinated products.
During performance of two cognitively demanding challenges, a Number Sequence Test (NST) and a Number Connection Test (NCT), Zynamite® had a significant activating effect on the brain compared to placebo as determined by frequency analysis of the changes in electrical activity across six brain wave frequency ranges (colour coded) in the EEG of the association cortex (change from time-averaged baseline assigned as 100%) ; significance values: ** p<0.05, *** p<0.001. (Figure 4)
In a nutshell, what the team at Nektium was able to accomplish - was to finally decrease the dillemma of sacrificing health and levels of well-being for temporary increases in focus and energy. This is truly groundbreaking.
This is why, Zynamite has won the 𝐍𝐔𝐓𝐑𝐀 𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐑𝐄𝐃𝐈𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐒 𝐀𝗪𝐀𝐑𝐃 in both 2018, and 2019 and awarded the Frost & Sullivan New Product Innovation Award in 2019 and holds over 𝟒 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬, and has been tested in over 𝟕 𝐜𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐬 and included as scientific evidence in over 𝟓 𝐩𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰𝐞𝐝 𝐩𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬.
AZOTH & ZYNAMITE
Last month, AZOTH LLC became the first supplement company to directly source and distribute Zynamite in North America in its product, TOTAL FOCUS which futher includes PurCaf, and a clinical dose of Rhodiola Rosea.
The Zynamite found AZOTH is batch tested, tested for purity, metals, and the purest form of Zynamite in the industry.
Users of Total Focus can expect intense levels of deep focus, prolonged energy, and maximum concentration unlike everything ever made available in the supplement industry.
In 2017, we pioneered AZOTH 2.0 and took the industry by storm. In 2020, we pioneered TOTAL FOCUS and are once again re-affirming our commitment for total human productivity.
Strength and Honor,
-Team AZOTH
